Our Scoring System at a Glance

We score every casino on a 1–10 scale across five dimensions. Each dimension is weighted by its importance to Brazilian crypto players. The composite score is a weighted average — a casino cannot compensate for a 4/10 withdrawal score by excelling at game selection.

Withdrawal Speed & Reliability 30% Did funds arrive on-chain within stated timeframes? Were there unexplained delays? Did support respond clearly to withdrawal questions?
Bonus Value & Fairness 25% Wagering requirement size, max bet limit, game contribution percentages, bonus expiry, and whether terms contain predatory confiscation clauses.
Security & Licensing 20% Company ownership transparency, licensing jurisdiction quality, KYC policy reasonableness, data handling, and responsible gambling tool availability.
Game Selection & Software 15% Number and variety of game providers, RTP availability, provably fair options, and live dealer quality.
Customer Support 10% Live chat availability, response time, quality of answers to standard and edge-case queries, availability of non-English support.

Our Testing Process, Step by Step

  1. Initial vetting. Before spending any time on a full review, we run a background check on the casino operator: parent company identity, licensing status (if any), history of withdrawal complaints on public forums, and whether the platform has previously been blacklisted. Casinos with credible unresolved withdrawal complaints are excluded before evaluation begins.
  2. Account registration. We register a real account using a fresh email address. We note how many fields are required, whether a phone number is mandated, and how long email verification takes. This forms part of the onboarding experience score.
  3. Deposit via crypto. We make a test deposit using the casino's listed cryptocurrency (BTC, ETH, SOL, or USDT depending on what the casino accepts). We time from sending the transaction to the balance appearing in the casino account. We also verify that the deposit address matches on-chain records.
  4. Bonus terms audit. Mia Reynolds reads every clause of the welcome bonus terms in full. We score on: wagering requirement (lower = better), max bet while bonus is active, game contribution percentages, bonus expiry period, whether the casino reserves the right to confiscate bonus winnings retroactively, and whether terms are written in plain language or deliberately obscured.
  5. Gameplay session. We play a minimum session across slots, table games, and live dealer if available. We verify that stated RTPs are achievable and check whether provably fair options are disclosed and functional.
  6. Withdrawal request. We request a real withdrawal back to our crypto wallet. We time from request submission to on-chain transaction broadcast. We note whether any unexpected KYC was triggered, how clearly the pending status was communicated, and whether the final amount matched the request.
  7. Support evaluation. We contact the casino support team via live chat (if available) and email with three query types: a basic question (how do I withdraw?), an edge-case question (what happens to my bonus if I withdraw before wagering is complete?), and a compliance question (where can I read your KYC policy?). We score based on response time, accuracy, and tone.
  8. Score calculation & publication. Dimension scores are entered into our scoring model and weighted to produce the composite 1–10 rating. Alex Carter writes the review narrative. Mia Reynolds fact-checks all compliance and bonus term claims before the review is published. Date of last evaluation is noted in the article header.

What We Don't Do

What Each Score Means

Score Range What It Means
9.5–10.0 Outstanding. No significant weaknesses. Withdrawals fast, bonus terms fair, strong security, excellent support.
9.0–9.4 Excellent. Minor weaknesses in one dimension but strong overall performance. Highly recommended.
8.5–8.9 Very good. One or two areas below top tier but no serious concerns. Recommended with caveats noted.
8.0–8.4 Good. Solid platform with clear room for improvement. Suitable for most players at lower stakes.
7.0–7.9 Average. Works but has notable weaknesses — slow support, high wagering, or incomplete game selection.
Below 7.0 Below average. Significant concerns in one or more dimensions. We do not recommend below 7.0 to our readers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our main ranked casinos are re-evaluated at minimum every 90 days. Casinos in our top 5 are tested monthly. If we receive credible reports of withdrawal problems or terms changes between scheduled reviews, we conduct an ad hoc re-evaluation and update the score immediately.
No. A casino cannot pay to appear on this site or to improve its ranking. We earn revenue through affiliate commissions when readers register via our links — but inclusion in our rankings and the score assigned are based entirely on our evaluation criteria, not the existence or size of an affiliate relationship.
We monitor community forums and player complaint channels. If credible reports of non-payment emerge, we initiate an immediate re-evaluation. Casinos that fail to respond or resolve complaints within 30 days are removed from our recommended list and flagged as a warning in our review.
Yes. If you'd like us to evaluate a crypto casino that isn't currently on our site, email us at editorial@bestcryptocasinos.br.com with the casino name and URL. We review all suggestions but cannot guarantee a publication timeline.
Many crypto casinos operate without a traditional gambling licence — this is common in the offshore crypto iGaming sector and is not automatically a disqualifier. We assess the casino's community reputation, transparency of ownership, and track record of paying withdrawals as substitutes for formal regulatory oversight. We always note unlicensed status clearly in our reviews.
